Pinoleville Vocational Rehabilitation Program Pinoleville Enviornmental Department PYCCSP MSPI Pinoleville Headstart

The purpose of the Pinoleville Pomo Nation Vocational Rehabilitation Program (PPNVRP) is to provide culturally oriented vocational rehabilitation services to American Indians with disabilities, traditionally an underrepresented population. Enrolled adult and transition aged youth of federally recognized tribes who reside in Lake, Mendocino and Sonoma Counties and have a medically documented disability that significantly impacts their ability to obtain or retain employment are eligible for vocational rehabilitation (VR) services to achieve a successful employment outcome.

The PPNVRP has been providing VR services since 1999 and has been a major source of employment, training and job placement services for American Indians with disabilities in the PPNVRP service area. The PPNVRP process is based on an Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) with the goal of obtaining full-time, part-time, seasonal, self-employment or supported employment consistent with the individual consumer’s strengths, traditional values and beliefs, resources, priorities, concerns, capabilities, interests and informed choice.  Services provided to individuals with disabilities must be necessary to overcome substantial barriers to employment.  The PPNVRP strives to maintain a highly accountable program to all consumers, funding sources and the members it serves.  LEARN MORE at www.pinoleville.com.
